1 trapped in Brighton technical rescue
BRIGHTON, Colo. (KDVR) – Brighton Fire is working on a technical rescue on Peregrine Drive.
Brighton Police tweeted Out that there is at least one person trapped in a large trench.
According to the Brighton Fire Chief, a member of a construction company fell into a major trench. Around 1 pm, a construction crew member was excavating a very deep hole when they fell in. The worker became buried by the soil and dirt, and the crew’s crew members were unable to see the worker.
“They lost a member of their company today, we’re hopeful there’s still a chance, but it’s been over an hour,” said the Brighton Police Chief.
As of 3:15 pm, Brighton Police do not have an update on the efforts.
Multiple agencies are working to assist with the rescue.
