Highlights from the 2022 NTCAR Hall of Fame

Commercial real estate luminaries gathered last week at the Dallas Country Club to celebrate Tim Headington, founder and CEO of Headington Cos., And Bill Cawley, chairman and CEO of Cawley Partners, as they were inducted into the NTCAR Hall of Fame. Also honored was David Gleeson, owner of GRAA Investments, who received the Michael F. McAuley Lifetime Achievement Award.

Known as the spark behind the renaissance in downtown Dallas, Headington’s landmark projects include The Joule, Main Street District, and Forty-Five Ten. Other projects include The Commissary and The Drakestone in downtown and the Tango Room in the Design District. In addition to his real estate endeavors, Headington is an Academy Award-winning movie producer.

Throughout his storied real estate career, Bill Cawley has acquired and developed more than 12 million square feet along the Dallas North Tollway corridor. His company, Cawley Partners, has developed 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space within the past five years. He also makes time to give back, as the past chairman of The Real Estate Council and is a past board member of NTCAR.

David Gleeson, the owner of GRAA Investments, has helped promote Dallas as an investment mecca. He is a CASA volunteer and has served on the boards of several North Texas organizations including the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Texas Film Commission, and the SMU Mustang Club. Gleeson received the NTCAR Stemmons Service Award in 1983.
