Target is getting in on the Prime Day action with its own Deal Days event conveniently set over the exact same dates: July 12-13, plus an additional Deal Day on July 11. This way, people who are anti-Amazon can head to Target or just spend 48 hours glued to their device as they rapidly shop some of the year’s best deals from both retailers. (Target alone is promising “hundreds of thousands of show-stopping deals.”)

Of course, the main selling point for Target is that you don’t have to pay $ 139 per year to access its website or walk through the doors. Target does, however, have its own free membership club, the Target Circle loyalty program, and those members will be able to get Target gift cards up to $ 500 for 5% off, which is always handy to have around when life, as it often does, takes you to Target.

Here’s what you have to look forward to during Target’s Deal Days.

  • Spend $ 50 on food and beverage, get a $ 10 Target GiftCard with same-day services
  • Save up to $ 70 on Apple products
  • Up to 50% off select top tech and headphones
  • 25% off beauty
  • Up to 30% off home items
  • 50% off select apparel and accessories for the family
  • Up to 50% off hundreds of toys
  • Up to 40% off kitchen appliances
  • Up to 35% off floor care products

As a reminder, Target always has flash sale deals that are worth checking out – just head to’s Deals page each day to see what’s been discounted for 24 hours online only. Today, for example, there’s 40% off wall decor, BOGO women’s and men’s swimwear, and 20% off Hearth & Hand with Magnolia homewares (minus the furniture and KitchenAid products).

Keep in mind that with Target, there are a ton of ways to pick up your products too — you don’t have to worry that your deliveries will get stolen off your porch or that they’ll get misdelivered. Instead, there’s same-day fulfillment options that let you get your purchases in your hands the day you order them, including Drive Up and Order Pick Up. If you can’t make it to a store in person, you can still get your purchase the day you order it thanks to Same-Day Delivery with Shipt (which does usually require a membership fee).

Regardless of how much you plan to haunt the Deals page, we highly suggest setting an alert for July 11-13 on your phone – it’s the perfect time for a midsummer wardrobe refresh, electronics upgrade, and more.
