Multiple employees in Tacoma-area school districts are making over $ 250,000 per year, including one administrator who is raking in at least $ 329,763 a year, according to data from Washington state’s Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The data has been collected through public record requests by McClatchy and compiled into a salary database. The database allows you to search the salaries and benefits of all public school employees in Washington, including Tacoma Public Schools, Clover Park School District, Bethel School District and Puyallup School District.

Washington was rated as the best state to work in for teachers, ranking first in the nation for salary and compensation and fourth for benefits, based on a study by Scholaroo, a company that helps students find college scholarships.

Here are the top 10 highest-paid positions across the Tacoma, Clover Park, Bethel and Payullup school districts, according to data from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Joshua Garcia – Superintendent, Tacoma – $ 329,763 a year
