The Ioniq 5 Made Up Half of Hyundai’s EV Sales

Hyundai is beginning to offer more and more EVs to its customers, and one of the popular models has been the Ioniq 5. As an electric SUV, the Ioniq 5 has been fairly successful. It shares its platform with the 2022 Kia EV6, and it seems like folks interested in a new EV have been attracted to it. Apparently, in terms of sales, the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 made up about half of Hyundai’s EV sales.

How many 2022 Ioniq 5 models have sold?

According to Inside EVs, Hyundai has sold almost 14,000 Ioniq 5 units. And in June, Hyundai sold about 3,000 models, which makes up half of Hyundai’s EV sales. While sales numbers have not been great compared to other vehicles, it is clear that more and more shoppers are interested in an electric SUV.
